How do I use the Surge jump starter?
Switch the unit on and make sure it has sufficient charge. Connect the red clamp to the vehicle battery positive (+) terminal, then connect the black clamp to the negative (−) terminal or a suitable unpainted metal earth point. Follow the indicator guidance, start the vehicle, then remove the clamps in reverse order. Keep the clamps clear of each other and consult your vehicle manual before use.
What are the Surge battery specifications?
Surge uses a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and delivers up to 7,000A peak current for emergency starting power. Actual performance and the number of jump starts per charge depend on the vehicle, battery condition, temperature, and storage conditions.
What safety features does Surge have?
Surge includes an 8-point safety system with protections such as reverse-polarity, short-circuit, and overcharge protection. The system is designed to warn you when clamps are connected incorrectly before current flows.
